Mr. Socheat Chum, CPA, MIPA AFA, Tax Manager at R&T Sok & Heng Law Office, joined the panel discussion on Digital Business and Taxation. The session is one of the various panel discussions organized as part of the Cambodia Tech Expo, an event led by the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation and held alongside the ASEAN Summit 2022.
The discussion covered digital business, tax on e-commerce and roadmap for Digital Business prepared by Ministry of Commerce. On tax on e-commerce, questions and answers were raised on the implementation of the current tax on e-commerce and its challenges. Also, the discussion touched on tax policies in meeting the governmentâs goal to be a high-middle-income country by 2030.
