Our Regional Construction team got together to conduct a webinar on “Construction Disputes in a Disruptive Pandemic” to discuss business disruptions across the region that are impacting the performance of construction contracts, as well as procedural challenges faced in event of a construction dispute and material considerations when drafting arbitration clauses for construction projects. The panel also discussed important considerations when managing hybrid / virtual hearings, and alternative means to resolving construction disputes, adjudication or mediation.
The webinar was moderated by Soh Lip San and joined by speakers Eri Hertiawan. SH, LLM, MCIArb (Indonesia), Han Li Meng (Malaysia), Myo Thant Swe (Myanmar), Ben Yap (Philippines), Sim Chee Siong (Singapore) and Logan Leung (Vietnam).
