Assegaf Hamzah & Partners acted as counsel to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Maspion which has entered into a concession agreement with the Gresik Port Operator to develop and operate Gresik Port. This deal marks a very strategic cooperation between Dubai-based port operator DP World and Indonesiaâs conglomerate Maspion Group to create a US$1.2 billion container terminal and an industrial logistics park in East Java. Partners Ibrahim S. Assegaf and Valerie Ngooi Ming Hui led the transaction.
